Shannon has performed with the Scottish American Ballet at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Salzburg Ballet (Austria), Ballet de Printemps (Canada), and with Mikhail Korogodsky at the International Vaganova Festival. She has danced her way through life, beginning training at age 4 by master teachers of the Russian Kirov Ballet. She has performed professionally in many soloist and principal roles both internationally in Europe and Canada and throughout the United States. Some of her most influential teachers include Marat Daukayev, Hasmik Amirian and David Howard. The LA Downtown News said she, "impressively performs.”
Other comapnies Shannon has danced professionally with include City Ballet (San Diego), Ballet New England (New Hampshire), Media City Ballet (Los Angeles), Benson Dance (New York), Ballet Magique (Hollywood), David Taylor Dance Theatre (Denver) and more. Shannon’s varied dance career has included a lead role in the Ovation Award winning musical ‘Shag With a Twist’, many music videos for bands which have been shown on MTV, commercials, fashion shows, and charity events. Currently, she is based in NYC freelancing and dancing with four New York based ballet companies. Shanon has also achieved the prestigious certification as an ABT National Training Curriculum certified teacher in Pre-Primary through Level 7 and Partnering, as well as the 4 Pointe Teacher Ceritfication from Lynne Charles, and has over a decade of teaching experience. Additionally, Shannon has a degree in business and is a graduate of Columbia University.
